Well, we skipped “Ask MercyMe” last week because of GMA Week, but this week it is back in full force. This week it’s Robby’s turn so ask away. Robby has been playing drums for over 20 years, managing his first band, and an avid baseball fan, so there is a lot to talk about.

I wanted to write and ask you if you could help me out. My father will be 78 this year and heard your song called “Sit with you awhile”. My sister and I have searched everywhere and can not find it anywhere. I was able to find your song on You Tube and he will get someone to help him bring it up on the computer and he will just sit and listen to it over several time. My father has been a minister for over 45 years and still serves God. I even had the privilege of hearing him when I was back visiting them. If there is any possible way that you could help me located a copy of this song for him it would mean so much to him. I thank you for your time and for blessing my father so much with your music.

You guys are great and me and my wife follow your music. We are going to the concert Sunday at Kaufman Stadium in Kansas City, MO. That day is our one year aniversay. If possible could you give a special shout out to Seth and Melanie Bosch during the concert for our aniversay.

I just wanted to say thank you for the songs “Finally Home” and “My heart will fly”. I recently lost my son, one day shy of his second birthday to meningitis. When i listen to those two songs, I cry but also feel comforted to know what is to come.
On March 23, 2009, one of my close friends, Andrew Hoien, passed away at the age of 19. He was diagnosed with Marfan’s Syndrome and his death was the result of an aortic dissection. It was spontaneous and no one could have foreseen it. I have put together at video slideshow put to the music of “I Can Only Imagine” which was perfect. It was my intention to post it on Facebook so that friends and family of Andrew could watch it and continue to cope with the loss of a great person, and a great Christian. However, Facebook has removed the video because of copyright infringement. I was wondering if I could have your, Mercy Me’s, permission to post the video to Facebook.

Can you tell me what type of screen you guys had behind you in your show @ Montgomery AL and in IA show. I found a video on your site showing the band helping set up but couldn’t make out what type of fabric/ squares where being used for the video and lyrics.
Nice kit too. I also play on on DW set.
