Redneck Christmas
December 9, 2008

A friend of mine was visiting family in a state that shall remain nameless, (birthplace of MercyMe,) and he happened upon this festive rendition of the classic nativity scene. Whether in a stable, or
in the cab of a Peterbuilt, don’t forget why we celebrate.

Someone must be awfully poor if they couldn’t even afford a stable lol

That is the greatest Christmas decoration ever!

North Carolina could have easily been the state where that was located.

    Awesome!

NC could have been the state INDEED!!!! hahahaha…. I am a Carolina girl and it wouldn’t surprise me in the least to see something like that in my home town… not that I’m judging. God bless ‘em for remembering Jesus this holiday! :)

Hmmm…there aren’t many trees in that picture…and there’s a lot of blue sky…could it be Texas? Maybe West Texas or the Panhandle? It looks like it anyway.

It really does go to show you that these are United States, because that could be the great state of Indiana also. I really wouldn’t count out the parts of Tennessee that I have seen either.

For Christmas, I would think that it would be an appropriate gift to give all of the S.L.O.B.ers and non-S.L.O.B.ers the final two installments of “Ask MercyMe Bart” and “Ask MercyMe Jim”. This is the last time I will ask. God bless us each and every one.

    Thank you

OMG!! This could so be in Texas. I have so many friends that would do this! We did it one year except it was in a truck bed that we stood up. It was stinkin funny.
